Option 1: One – on – One, Partner or Small Group Training in Your Home, Office or Gym
- We start with a consultation in person or by phone.
- You complete the Client Questionnaire and PAR-Q (physical activity readiness questionnaire), and have your doctor fill out the Medical Release, if necessary, and bring them with you to our first session.
- We schedule days and times to workout at the selected location based on agreed availability.
- Our first meeting will consist of a full body assessment consisting of measurements, photos, body composition analysis and muscular imbalance assessment.
- I design your program based on your goals and needs determined by the assessment, client questionnaire and medical release, if applicable.
- We begin your sessions as previously scheduled.
- You will keep a written journal detailing your strength training, cardio, nutrition and thoughts and feelings before during and after your sessions.
- Updated evaluations are completed every 4 – 6 weeks and a new program is designed based on the results.
Option 2: Online Personal Training
- Online training can be a stand alone program or work in conjunction with your in person one – on – one training.
- Online training works well for self-motivated individuals who just need help planning their fitness routine.
- Online training is not recommended for individuals new to exercise or those with medical conditions or movement problems who may be more prone to injuries and would benefit from the extra attention provided by one-on-one training.
- When considering between online and one-on-one training, think about past attempts at exercise and why it didn’t work. Do you need a “real voice – real person” to get you to exercise and keep you motivated and accountable, or do you just need someone to tell you what to do?
How Does Online Training Work?
- First, go to my Online Training Page.
- Scroll down and select the program that is best for you and your goals. Click on the “buy now” button to complete your safe and secure transaction using paypal (You do not need a paypal account).
- Within 48 hours you will receive an email from me containing your very own username and password which you will use to access your private control center.
- The initial welcome email will provide you with a link to log into your account and complete the appropriate questionnaires about your current health, goals and fitness level.
- From one to seven days (depending on the plan you choose and/or my work schedule) you will receive your program delivered via email, designed specifically for you, for an entire month.
- Your training program will be designed specifically for you based on your individual profile (including age, exercise history, fitness level goals, location and available equipment, schedule availability, medical history, etc.)
- You can print it out and take it with you. Your program will be designed for home, gym, office, hotel room – whatever location you requested.
- The exercise photos, instructions, tips and cautions, repetitions, sets, videos and nutrition plans are all in one convenient location. It is very user friendly.
- You are responsible for logging into your account and entering data from each workout. This data is valuable to your trainer in tracking your progress and updating your rogram.
- Your training program lasts four weeks at which point I will reevaluate your program based on your entries and our email and/or phone communications and create a new training program.
